Aileen Wong, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Aileen Wong is a proud Arizona native and University of Arizona Wildcat. Dr. Wong believes that a full life is driven by human connection. She seeks to help her patients and their families in achieving their communication health goals that help to build strong relationships and enhance quality of life. Dr. Wong has served patients across the lifespan of diverse backgrounds, working with them to build a comprehensive hearing rehabilitation plan. Her areas of interest include hearing evaluation, hearing aids, hearing assistive technology and audiologic rehabilitation.
Dr. Wong earned all three of her degrees from the University of Arizona and completed her audiology clinical externship at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. She then returned to Tucson serving as a clinical audiologist at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (Tucson VA) and as an Educational Audiologist for the Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, Southeast Regional Cooperative. Her strong passion for teaching and mentoring pulled her back to the University of Arizona, where she held a blended position involved in teaching, scholarship and service for ten years. Dr. Wong has served on local and national committees supporting efforts to enhance patient-centered care, health equity and educational equity. Her accomplishments include distinction as a University of Arizona Hispanic Serving Institution Fellow (2019), receipt of the Provost Award for Innovation in Teaching (2023) and multiple co-authored, peer-reviewed scientific publications and conference presentations.
